Frequently Asked Questions

What is finstrument.ai?

finstrument.ai is a free hub for global market insights powered entirely by TradingView’s free widgets—charts, heatmaps, screeners, news, and an economic calendar.

Which markets and instruments are covered?

We cover stocks, indices, forex pairs, cryptocurrencies, and commodities, depending on TradingView’s exchange coverage for each symbol.

How do I search for a symbol?

Use the global search in the header. Try formats like NSE:RELIANCE, NASDAQ:AAPL, BTCUSD, or OANDA:USDINR. You’ll land on the instrument page with an advanced chart and insights.

What symbol formats work best?

The recommended format is EXCHANGE:SYMBOL (e.g., NSE:TCS, NASDAQ:MSFT). Some pairs like EURUSD or BTCUSD also work without an exchange prefix.

Are prices real-time?

Free widgets can be real-time or delayed based on the exchange’s licensing policy. Crypto is often real-time; some equity feeds are delayed.

Where does the data come from?

All data and charts come directly from TradingView’s official free widgets. finstrument.ai doesn’t store or sell market data.

Why do some sections look empty for certain symbols?

Fundamentals and Company Profile mainly apply to equities; instruments like indices or forex pairs may not show those sections.

Can I change the theme?

The site follows your system’s dark/light setting and loads widgets accordingly. If you switch system theme mid-session, refresh to see widgets in the new theme.

How do I share a specific instrument view?

Copy the instrument page URL—it includes the tvwidgetsymbol parameter so anyone can open the same symbol directly.

Is finstrument.ai free?

Yes. finstrument.ai uses only TradingView’s free widgets and is completely free to use. All data & charts © TradingView.
